Room XX by Miquel Barceló is a massive sculptural installation in the new human rights and alliance of nations chamber at the UN Palace of Nations in Geneva. I thought everyone could use some colourful inspiration, I think it’s appropriate how the project has obvious references to caves and caverns referencing back to the early history of the caveman which has now evolved into ‘intellectual’ discussion within the UN. I can see this inspiring the runway, can anyone think of any collections that references a similar aesthetic? I cant think of one… To read more about the project visit: designboom.com.
